Our Educators

Our highly qualified teachers and caregivers bond with your child and establish a partnership with your family that fosters a sense of security, comfort, and familiarity.

Background Clearances

All perspective employees for Our World for Children must complete a comprehensive background check which includes FBI fingerprints.

St. Mark Lutheran Church employees must submit to background checks before being hired.

CPR/First Aid/AED

All lead teachers and administrative staff are CPR, First Aid, and AED trained and certified through the Red Cross. All other staff are trained in CPR, First Aid, and AED within 90 days of hiring. We have two AED devices in our building with the necessary components to use safely with infants and young children.

Ongoing Training and Education

Our staff meet and exceed Michigan State Standards for Early Childhood Education. All teachers, caregivers, and directors undergo a minimum of 16 hours of continuing education every year.

Infant and Toddler teachers are specially trained for their care and how best to meet their needs and encourage their growth and learning.
